Dirk Etienne knew by sixth grade that he wanted to sing his own songs. He began performing at the age of 12 and by 20 was singing on the Sunset Strip in clubs like the world famous Whisky-A-Go-Go, The Starwood, and Gazzari’s. It was there that he was discovered by Kiss producer, Kenny Kerner. By the age of 23, Dirk was opening on a top national tour and performed for over 1 million fans. He has worked with Grammy-winning producer Robert Margouleff and multi-platinum producers Kenny Kerner and Michael Lloyd, among others. After touring the U.S. in the late ‘70s and early ‘80s, Dirk settled in Carmel, California, and he recorded his first two solo albums.
